Thank you for all the metrics. I agree Google is attractive as well from a value standpoint, but BIDU is the bigger growth play. The best growth stocks usually are the ones that look overvalued, and some of the stats you posted support that. I try to mix technicals and fundamentals so if I am wrong I will be out before the real damage is done. However I definitely think that both GOOG and BIDU are attractive and will be looking to own both on any market weakness.
I think the news that Apple may be changing the default search engine on iPhones in China to Baidu from Google plays in with exactly what your saying and could be huge for BIDU.
Completely understand your hesitation. Like I said in article, I have skepticism as well in most Chinese stocks, but BIDU is one I am willing to put money in. I also like Google as well.
