Jacob Jordan is a student writer who has lived in Nashville, Tennessee for about fifteen years. Currently, Jacob is working on an English degree at MTSU, with a minor in History. Ideally, he would like to one day earn his PhD in English. He and his wife Ashley have been married for almost two years.

When not working at his job in the healthcare industry or attending school, Jacob enjoys reading about political/economic theory, investment, history and playing chess. Jacob and his wife are also avid Ron Paul supporters. Lately, Jacob has been working on restructuring his blog, TheJaykob.Com.

Interestingly enough, Jacob’s interest in the market stems from his interests in the English language and literature. Jacob believes that economics is the hidden current which directs the more apparent components of life. Make no mistake, however—Jacob is no Marxist in his worldview. He simply believes that if one is to have a solid basis for understanding the world, economics cannot be compartmentalized in the big picture.
