James Fraser worked on contract research and development for the first 27 years of his career. For the last 8 years, he has worked for an engineering construction company as a project engineer for the refining and chemical industries.
He has been either principle investigator, project engineer or project manager on contracts with DOI, DOE, USDA, US Army, US Navy, NSF, Nestles, P&G, Ocean Spray, Welch's, Dakota Gasification, Hess Refinery, Koch Refinery, Koch Engineering, Lyondell and Amoco.
Mr. Fraser has authored numerous reports for government agencies and has published in professional journals. He is a certified Hazop leader for reviewing the safety and operational issues in hazardous plant operations that could occur in chemical and refining plants, and owns two patents relating to crystallization processes.
