Jim Roemer was one of the first meteorologists ever to become a Commodity Trading Adviser and has worked with major hedge funds, Midwest farmers and traders for nearly 30 years. His unique ability to forecast both short and longer range weather trends, with a special emphasis in interpreting market psychology and major market moves in grains, softs and the energy markets, has made him a global industry leader in commodities. His responsibilities as an energy trader at a German local utility company include power plant scheduling, formulating and executing trading strategies after thorough fundamental and technical analysis. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Industrial Eng. and Management from Technical University Bergakademie Freiberg. He is currently engaged as treasurer of a reg. association and gives lectures about financial modeling, investment evaluation and trading energy.
