    Don, you are funny! Did you check out http://bit.ly/VadvcD? I think they launched pretty recently and are doing a great (simple) job of allowing people to collaborate and create categories, ad competitors, and rate them. Maybe we can make something like that for investing? It could be used to measure investor interest in companies, and run opinion based polls? I'd love to go on Shark Tank!

    I totally agree. There needs to be a platform where people can collaborate on data aggregation and there needs to be better tools to interpret the information. I find it amusing that every time I search something on Google it brags about delivering millions of results... they are missing the point. I only want one result and an algorithm will never be able to figure which one that should be...

    That doesn't sound so "simple" to me! But I know what you're saying. When it comes to socially curated search results, QrateSearch.com seems to be pretty good at niche categories. Mainly when you are just looking to rate and rank various options within a category. You'd have to simplify it to something like "Stock Calculators" and then add a bunch of different options you've looked into, It looks like if other people are looking for the same things they will collaborate by adding options and rating the existing ones in your category.
