Basically in simple terms, the contrarian value strategy is a process that has a set of checks and balances to prevent you from chasing the hot sectors or bubble stocks of the day and forces you to buy the best values presented by the market.The Fund has the flexibility to invest in large, medium and small cap stocks that are currently out of favor and undervalued.Also the Fund can invest in both domestic and international stocks as well as fixed income. Cash may build as a by product if undervalued opportunities that meet our strategy cannot be found. We look at cash as a strategic asset and to protect capital in times of distress. The Fund uses a four step quantitative and qualitative process to distinguish which securities are attractive long term investments. The manager invests alongside fellow shareholders in the fund.
