    Seems like with a recurring 16% annual yield, you'd be better off holding long instead of a one-time 8% gain from a flip (not including taxes or inflation on either percentage).

    Hi. Good article. Thanks for doing the analysis. It looks like you put a lot of time into it. I do have a two-part question though. I haven't read through the hundreds of comments here, so forgive me if I am repeating something someone has already covered. At the end you say "I believe the Q1 2012 cut from $1.40 to $1.25 per share was precautionary in nature." So the first part is, why would the dividend cut be precautionary? And the second part is, AGNC issued an extra 100 million shares last year, could the reduction be because of a loss of individual share equity? Thank you for your time.
