Big Blue boasts its latest mainframe, the zEC12, will offer 50% more processing capacity than its predecessor, aided by its use of a new 5.5GHz. CPU. exactly why fundamentals are sometimes overrated. a stock is worth what people think its worth. and fundamentals has an influence on that sometimes.
If a stock is good fundamentally eventually it will show through technical analysis.

Apple can be crazy. The best way I can put it is "reward ratio" is not that compelling to be long at the moment. Apple always finds a way to find new buyers.
Study the chart when the values I posted were similar the stock pulled back. Exclude the crazy mania of Jan-April.

the best advice I could give is it wouldn't be wise going long at these levels. just an opinion. dont take my thoughts seriously.

Great work, and excellent point about the VIX at these low levels being a temporary top the last few times. This market has been very hard to trade these last few weeks, completely confusing.

Also interesting settings on the Bollinger Bands. I will try those out.

I did about 2-3 charts on the VIX and other Sentiment Indicator (middle of the post) for those who enjoy charts:

I think the intermediate term outlook for the US markets doesn't look good. In my blog post I discuss how I think the charts are portraying an exhausted market

I also left my analysis from last week there, it ended up being not to bad of a prediction.

  • Watching For Intervention As U.S. Dollar Falls Toward 5-Month Lows Vs. Yen [View article]
Hi, I have been following the Euro/Yen Pretty closely and it is very correlated to the US Markets as well as the world Markets.

Do you have any idea why?

On my blog post on Sunday I wrote about it..its the third chart . Basically the way the Euro Yen is behaving the US Market will have a correction pretty soon, due to their intermediate term correlation.

From this article it seems that their will be some sort of attempt to weaken the Yen. But what about an attempt to strengthen the Euro? I think that would be needed as well.
