  • Why the SDRs Are DOA [View article]
Well written article, but it still boils down to "the US just don't get it, again". My own interpretation of the truth of the matter is that "replacing the US dollar" globally with the SDR scheme is the best way to go and in the best interests of most other nations.
Yes we are a great nation, but we are no longer top dog economically and won't be for another full century. It's high time for the US to stop getting a bruised ego everytime it is asked to cooperate equally without trying to be king of the hill all the time. I also think that the frustration of this "bruised ego" rises to the surface in statements like Mr Chandler's "one world governemnt jab". I fully support the SDR scheme replacing the US dollar internationally, along with all the old guard of uncooperative US Senators who still practice the "it's us against them" mentality! But for better or for worse, I'll still keep the government we have in place!

  • Jim Rogers Has Gold Coins in His Pockets [View article]

I've always had a great admiration for Jim Rogers. However "Mr Rogers Neighborhood" has changed. To cut to the chase, "he now lives in Singapore"! Living there can make one doubt and forget, the amazing resolve and resilence of both the US economy and Americans in general.
After this take of him, I confess I've lost a little of my belief in his perceptions. Namely "to yell fire in the movie theatre" by predicting civil unrest has eroded Mr Roger's character considerablely and is the cheapest shot I've ever heard to prop-up commoditity prices!

  • Sify: Cyber Cafe Strategy Could Be Company's Key to Success [View article]
What's up with Sify's stock price lately (ADRs)? Should'nt it start an agressive buyback, or seek a friendly suitor, or is it getting indifferent and headed for a delisting?
