I am an individual investor who prefers to be a passive investor. I started investing in stocks in 2001 and I am yet to sell my major holdings. I believe an individual investor cannot make money by following stock updates daily and reacting to it. People have started saying that "buy and hold" is dead, especially after 2008 but I am still holding on to "buy and hold".
I am also in favor of researching a company for months/years before you make it a major part of your portfolio.

I am an investor in the Indian equity markets. My current approach to investments is based upon value investing principles of Graham. I have recently been inspired by the success of Michael Burry.
