  • Baidu's 40% Decline Makes It Very Cheap [View article]
    Hi Psalerno,

I totally agree mobile is the real growth market and 35% isn't all that much. However, I think Baidu will be able to use its wealth of cash and knowledge to grow their market share.

  • Reasons To Buy JPMorgan At Its Current Valuation [View article]
    Hi Nafar,

Couldn't agree more! One of the most important things to remember is: "Buy low, Sell high", and at todays valuations,JPM is definitly cheaper than it deserves to be.

    Hi Tobacco,

I may buy JPMorgan in the near future ,when i have more funds available. At this moment, all my money is in dividend paying stocks, but JPM is definitly on my buy-list.

  • Taking A Closer Look At General Electric's Dividends [View article]
    Hello Joey,

While I agree dividend cuts are often a bad sign, if the EPS can go back up , i will consider buying GE.

  • Taking A Closer Look At General Electric's Dividends [View article]
    Hi FGAPrez,

I don't think GE is all that cheap at a price to earnings ratio of 17. Ofcourse the stock was a lot more expensive in 2007,but EPS was also a lot higher back then.

    Hi Johnny,

Nice to hear GE has done well for your over the last decade-and-a-half. The 2009 dividend cut must have been hard for you. I agree GE will probably outlive most of us.

    Thanks for your comment,

  • Even At A Low Payout Ratio, Wells Fargo Has An Amazing Dividend Yield [View article]
    Hi David,

Thanks for commenting. WFC has shown that it can climb back up,even during a financial crises, while its competitors have had more trouble doing so. In my opinion, WFC is the stock to own if one is looking for exposure to the banking sector.

  • McDonald's: International Expansion Makes It A Buy [View article]
    Hi lowcountryboy,

Excelent question! MCD has increased its dividend more than its EPS which has led to the payout ratio going from around 35% in 2003 to just over 50% in 2012. I wouldn't expect it to go up too much anymore so future dividend increases should be just about the same as EPS increases.

Emerging markets will surely drive MCD's earnings up further, but I really don't know how much. You're definitly correct with your conclusion that "No company can indefinitely continue a DGR of nearly 25%".

Analysts expect MCD to have an EPS of $6.34 in 2014 (http://yhoo.it/10mD6jx), which at the same payout ratio would lead to a dividend of $3.39. Any 10 year predictions would just be a shot in the dark, but fundementals for MCD are strong and I do expect growth.

    Hope this helps,

    -Jeroen
