    HL caught in a bad market? Yes, that and a whole lot more! Fundamentally, this company is now a train-wreck due to failed management and excessive debt. Even their recent offering @$2.05 is now in the red.

    When an outfit with the potential that HL once had drops 86.6% in 9 months, there's more risk here than most would want to sleep with! When there are so many better gold/silver miners around to hitch your wagon to, why not wait and see if HL can ever recover from the mess management has created before buying more???

    I for one was very glad to see the Senate 'soften' the 'Buy American' language of stimulus package.

    Recognizing that protectionism deepened the depression of the 1930's and actually was largely responsible for worsening the global effects, it makes little sense to 'circle the wagons' and close the barn doors long after the horses have made their escape!

    Whether we like it or not, this is a wold-wide recession, and we're all in this together!

    If we can't compete our way out of this mess, then we'd better find a way to co-operate our way out of it!
