    A contrarian amongst the contrarians! Gold has been confined to a log normal trend channel since it bottomed out in 2001. It is much closer to the top of the channel than the base and I'd be surprised if it moves past $550. However, $1000 gold isn't much of a stretch if you are willing to wait a few years. The HUI and XAU are less extended than bulloin so maybe gold stocks will play catch up.
