  • Phantom Shareholders At Kandi Technologies And Disclosure Issues At Guanwei - Part II [View article]
Mahlerwebb, Geo DID put out a hit piece on KNDI and after having read it, I wouldn't go within 1,000 miles of that stock.

Great work Maj (GeoInvesting). I'm just sorry there were no shares available for shorting after the "hit piece" came out. To all the many lemmings on the LPH Yahoo board who criticized me forever about my .67 cent target .... ROTFLOL at all the money you lost. How does it feel to have just handed all your cash over to the Geo team ? Oh the humanity ... LOL.

  • Why China Auto Logistics Is My Favorite China Stock In 2013 [View article]
Thanks for the article, but you're not comparing apples to apples as far as revenue is concerned. Sure, there was a massive increase in revenue, but it's due to a new and unproven business model whereby margins are razor razor thin. $170 million in revenue to generate only $1.5 million of net income ? That's hardly a comforting situation. Any hiccup whatsoever with revenues and it's an entirely different story. For sure without question we need to see a couple more quarters under the company's belt to see if the new business model is sustainable. With a current P/E of 2, it's not like the stock's cheap and even with a P/E of 1, the stock is still a questionable bet until sustainability can be proven. The only reason whatsoever that the stock recently ran was due to the low float. Had the float been much larger, no way the stock would have been driven to where it was. I'm hopeful, but let's not get ahead of ourselves with talk of higher revenues when those revenues are NOT due to an improvement in operations.

  • China's Growing Energy Demand Allows Longwei's Expansion [View article]
To add a contrary point of view, just about two weeks ago, LPH hinted about possible dilutive financing to complete the acquisition and fund the necessary expenses in order to get the new facility up and running. The stock price immediately headed south, but then all of a sudden the company comes out of the blue to say the acquisition will be completed by the end of the month without dilution, quite the opposite of what they had just stated. I can't imagine any legitimate business in the USA would make the same statements as LPH made followed by the same action. It just doesn't make sense. So ... this begs the question ... will dilutive financing slap shareholders upside the head with regard to funding the initial operations of the facility ? Obviously the money has to come from somewhere, money that LPH currently does not have, at least according to what LPH just said a couple of weeks ago. Kind of funny that absolutely no shareholder will talk about this. Personally, I think disappointing surprises are in store for investors as in the past.

  • Deer Consumer Products Better Positioned Than Competitors [View article]
I just find it hilarious that the money flowing into YONG actually came from short-sellers who couldn't stop saying "halt & delisting is imminent" while they were furiously buying the stock back. The fact that this was so obvious will start to change the mindset of many. I don't own YONG, but I did buy DEER at $3.53 today and our "stock talk live" group in Paltalk.com absolutely knocked it out of the park last week and this week.

Back to YONG for a second ..... Richard Roe keeps saying two auditors are in on the fraud and the reason he hasn't turned over his findings to the SEC is due to the fact he's waiting for the right moment. ROTFLOL. That dude is so F.O.S., his brown eyes are on the verge of turning black.

The President of Rochdale Investments (Garrett D'Alessandro) nailed it back on Oct. 11th when he said "Look for Chinese stocks to begin to recover after the next round of 10-K's have passed." Boy was he right. There was huge money flowing back into China small-caps over the last two weeks as witnessed by quite a few monster runs and most of the companies that ran weren't worth the paper they're names are printed on. DEER on the other hand is a prime "going private" stock, beat earnings estimates, got the 10-K behind them and then raised 2012 EPS guidance to $1.40

With short-sellers trying to unwind their positions, you're witnessing rather amusing tactics from folks such as Richard Roe. This guy has stated virtually every day for the past 12 months concerning YONG, "A halt and delisting is imminent." He's stepped up his game big time in recent weeks, but just look at the new short-interest numbers on YONG. There's about 1 million fewer shorts in the stock, so obviously while folks like Richard are telling anyone and everyone to run for their lives, they're busy buying back shares from those they're trying to scare out of the stock. LOL. Obviously Richard's definition of "imminent" is far different than mine. The last short-interest reporting period spoke loud and clear that short-covering is "imminent."

Bottom line is that money is starting to flow back into the sector in a big way and short-sellers are beginning to get nervous and thus they're doing their best to step up their game. If auditors haven't resigned in the 10-K process and everything passes, the SEC won't even give it a look and thus short-sellers have no ammo other than to spread as much fear as possible, but spreading fear at P/E between 0.5 and 4 is a difficult task.

Lastly, DEER traded just above $3.50 for two straight days and there was plenty of ammo on the bid. Who was providing that ammo ? Plenty of short-sellers for sure, no different than what we're now seeing in YONG. Going to be alot of fun action up ahead and these last two weeks reminded me of 2009 back in the glory days whereby you could just throw a dart.

  • Guanwei Recycling Corp Could Be The Next 3 Bagger [View article]
GPRC has never raised capital since becoming a public company over three years ago, meanwhile they just continue to execute quarter after quarter, year after year. Being a public company has done nothing for GPRC except cost them money with regards to audit fees and the costs related to being public. What's more reassuring than anything is the fact that original investors still hold their $3 to $4 positions, demonstrating extreme confidence. Most other China small-caps have seen original investors fleeing by the dozens.

Short-sellers piled into all of these names late last week, but I doubt they did any DD whatsoever on GPRC, as they've been successful in simply throwing darts ..... until now. The latest short-interest report indicates virtually no shorts in the stock at all, but I'll betcha anything that when we see the April 15th numbers, there's at least 500K. I suspect they're just now realizing that GPRC is no HEAT, CREG, NFEC, RCON, CLNT & VALV with regards to fundamentals and thus those 500K (a guess) shorts will most likely start exiting as quickly as possible before they get run over. No reason to press their luck, as they've already made great money in shorting the above names after last week's run. Everyone of the above named stocks is down today ..... except for GPRC. It's obvious as to why and now there's alot of new eyes on this gem.

  • The 75% Free Fall In Diamond Foods' Stock Price Is Not Enough [View article]
Good grief, love all the arm-chair quarterbacks on this name and I even see good ol' Ben Axler here rating the stock worth $0, the same number he assigns to almost every stock he talks about. Gee, ya think being short has something to do with that ? Nah ... couldn't be. Not Ben. Anyways, there are two payments incorrectly recorded .... big freakin deal. It'll be a net wash after restatements. The difference between today and a couple of days ago ? We now have confirmed what EVERYONE already knew. So what ? Gonna LMAO when the stock's back above $35 and all the arm-chair QB's are off to prey on someone else.

You're a good writer, but SPRD definitely has issues with "some" fraud. Any fraud at all doesn't fly with me and it WILL catch up with the company. Is Muddy Waters finished with SPRD ? I don't think so, as I think "Part 2" is on the way, the part that results in eventual delisting.

  • Class Action Suits Could Hurt China MediaExpress [View article]
I called one of the lawfirms yesterday (Pomerantz) and spoke to an attorney familiar with the case. He and I discussed the merits of the case and the fact that all "hit pieces" have been soundly refuted. I'll tell you this, the guy's tone was extremely mild and he said, "Well, we'll have to wait and see." I can hear on his mild voice that none of these firms have a case against CCME. Your article on class-action suits ? Very weak at best.
