You're a good writer, but SPRD definitely has issues with "some" fraud. Any fraud at all doesn't fly with me and it WILL catch up with the company. Is Muddy Waters finished with SPRD ? I don't think so, as I think "Part 2" is on the way, the part that results in eventual delisting.
Class Action Suits Could Hurt China MediaExpress [View article]
I called one of the lawfirms yesterday (Pomerantz) and spoke to an attorney familiar with the case. He and I discussed the merits of the case and the fact that all "hit pieces" have been soundly refuted. I'll tell you this, the guy's tone was extremely mild and he said, "Well, we'll have to wait and see." I can hear on his mild voice that none of these firms have a case against CCME. Your article on class-action suits ? Very weak at best.
U.S.-Listed China Stocks Vulnerable to Management Buy-Outs [View article]
A nice trading opportunity at $5.20 ? Dutch, I agree with alot of what you have to say in the China small-cap sector, but not here. CSR is a company that's been diluted to Hell and back. The A/R's are now almost 1/2 $billion. LOL. The debt ? Don't even get me started. Of all the LBO's in the space, I find CSR's to be the most illegitimate and only announced to try and initiate short covering. A subsequent offer higher than $6.50 ? Not a chance. That's my point of view and I wish you the best, but I'm willing to bet that CSR trades down to $4.50 and remains there until they can demonstrate they knpow how to efficiently run a business. As of now, CSR has only proved they can't even run a lemonade stand. Have a nice day.
Can't believe during this rare earth craze that MLLOF hasn't ben mentioned. Sure, it's a pink sheet, but their partnership with REE is 65% for MLLOF and 35% for REE. Hardly noticed at all and yet a small market cap of $23 million with a proven CEO leading the company.
What's funny about this rare earth craze is the action in CHGS, a company that has NOTHING at all to do with rare earth materials, yet traders see "minerals" in the company's name and sent the stock flying. If they only knew what a real dog CHGS actually is. LOL. Fair value for the company is really about $1.30 at best and about $1.00 with a market correction, so I suspect many many folks will end up hurt badly in this one. Oh well, greed never prevails.
15 Chinese Stocks Being Targeted by Short Sellers [View article]
Short-sellers really started going in heavy back in August, the same month where the overall market was slipping into what many thought was the start of a steep downtrend, myself included. What happened ? The markets roared in September, catching shorts off-guard and when many of the stocks in the China small-cap sector saw big gains, shorts came in even heavier to try to protect their deep under-water positions. The result ? The markets continue to move higher and thus many many Chinese stocks are on the verge of seeing huge short-squeezes, taking ridiculously valued stocks towards a much fairer value, as alot of these stocks are priced as if the company is going bankrupt. One short attack after another has failed miserably and with most of these companies growing at warp speed, investors on the long side stand to see substantial gains going forward. Stocks that have been ruthlessly attacked that stand to make investors a fortune ? That's easy ..... CCME, UTA, YONG, LLEN, ZSTN for starters.
Taking Profits in Chinese Micro Caps and Small Caps [View article]
CCME might go parabolic ? With the stock still on the Reg Sho list and over 50% of the small float short and Lord knows how many naked shorts on top of that, CCME might end up having a squeeze that ends up in the record books. Even with the stock doubling in the last 2 weeks (not 2 months like you stated), CCME still sports a P/E of around 6 and priced like the company's going bankrupt.
I agree with you on the other three stocks as far as taking profits, but with CCME, big money is arriving daily and the short position remains nothing short of massive. Would I be surprised if the stock doubled again in the next 2 weeks ? Not at all.
RINO International: Morphing Into a Financier? [View article]
The reason RINO's PPS is dropping is because their EPS model is dropping from the $2.25 area for 2009 to $1.70 or so in 2010 and that's because they now have to pay taxes and their capacity won't be expanded until later in the year. It doesn't take a genius to figure this out, yet absolutely no one has discussed the tax issue. Amazing how people try to over analyze these things when the answers are so simple.

Hope all you guys don't miss ZMSPF, as I think it's by far the hottest new patent play. Over 50 patents and they're currently taking down Philips. Market cap is just $24 million.
Vernon can't be re-opened quickly. Why ? I base this on my conversation with the Calif. Dept. of Toxins last week. Lots of work to be done and it certainly won't happen overnight .... if at all.
