John A. Epeneter is sole officer and shareholder of C.A.R.E. Asset Management and Strategies, Inc. and is in his 10th year of involvement with all aspects of financial advisory services in the areas of portfolio management, asset allocation, income tax minimization, college, retirement and estate planning, During Mr. Epeneter's over 40 years of public accounting experience, he has serviced a wide range of industries, including nonprofit organizations, software consulting and development firms, wholesalers, retailers, manufacturers, professionals, and high net worth individuals. Mr. Epeneter received his Master of Science degree, with honors, in financial planning from the College of Financial Planning, and his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Suffolk University after receiving his accounting associates degree from Bentley School of Accounting and Finance (now Bentley University). Mr. Epeneter was awarded the Silver Medal by the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants for second place on the November 1966 national CPA examination. Mr. Epeneter is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certificant and a Personal Financial Specialist, the financial planning designation of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has also qualified for Certified Valuation Analyst, the business valuation designation of the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts although he is not practicing at this time. He is a Certified Fund Specialist, a Registered Investment Advisor, and a Certified College Planning Specialist.
