About 20 years ago I started investing in mutual funds and reading all I could about the stock market. A few years ago I started swing trading with limited success, and grew my account 19% in 2013. On 02/01/2014 I made a decision to try to change my life by becoming a Day Trader. I sold every stock I was holding and started with a cash balance of about 26,000 dollars. I will be posting my results in my instablog and on my website, www.ScottsDayTradeLog.webs.com.
My name is Ivica Juracic and I’m the CEO and founder of Xpertstocktrader.com. I have been sharing my skills with hundreds of traders of every skill level since 2001. My method is simple, low risk, and consistently profitable. My system is based on an emphasis on simple, yet reliable technical signals. I focus upon stocks, ETFs, and FOREX and use few indicators. Instead I focus upon price action based upon the placement of a setup in the larger trend and use several tools to confirm my bias and locate high reward and low-risk trade setups.
Brett earned his first contrarian investing profits in 2004 when he purchased an obscure investment (at the time): sugar futures. His friends on Wall Street stopped laughing soon enough when sugar rocketed to multi decade highs, illustrating that it indeed pays to be contrary.
Brett quickly learned that the key to maximizing profits while minimizing losses is to invest against the crowd. He has since scoured the universe of stocks, commodities and options, searching for popular and tradable market misconceptions.
Brett has been featured in The Economist, Forbes, The Globe and Mail, Chicago Tribune and Seeking Alpha. He is a graduate of Cornell University, with a degree in operations research and industrial engineering.
In addition to his love of investing, Brett is an experienced technology entrepreneur. He co-founded two successful high-growth software companies, Chrometa, maker of the world’s most advanced timekeeping software, and LeadDyno, an online marketing tool for small businesses.

I am retired from Fresno County. I like to blog and comment on financial matters. I knew of the housing bubble in late 2005, way before Cramer. I believe that the central banking establishment set up excessive and damaging credit vehicles both for investors and for borrowers. Investors were swindled but no one goes to jail. Borrowers were given so much easy money that the loans themselves pushed the value of houses up to unsustainable heights. It is worthwhile to "fight" the lending abuses peacefully, with education and through legal means where possible.
I am not an investment counselor nor am I an attorney so my views are not to be considered investment advice. It seems from my understanding of the economy, that folks who fight the Fed are fighting a force that is powerful, capable of keeping interest rates low, etc.
