I have run Capital Markets and been on the Board of Directors of four Investment Banks. I write the commentary "Out of the Box" which is distributed to more than 5,000 financial institutions in 48 countries and is published each day out of London and Paris as well. I am also the author of "Out of the Box and onto Wall Street" published by Wiley & Sons in English and Chinese.
I possess 10+ years of trading and investing experience, with a focus on precious metals, currency, energy, and technology markets. My decisions are based on market cycles, valuation metrics, technical analysis, and industry-specific trends and technologies. I typically hold positions for several years.
I also run InformedTrades.com, a site dedicated to helping individuals learn to trade the world's financial markets.
I was a Financial Advisor and worked at Morgan Stanley. I have 3 Graduate Degrees In Finance and Economics. I am daily in tune with the markets around the world From Stocks Bonds Options Currencies Commodities Futures and had licenses to trade for others and now I trade and invest for myself both long and short positions. Then holdings for the long term . Eisenhower warned the American People in his outgoing speech to NEVER let Corporate Interest sway Americas Political Views with our VAST "Industrial Military Complex" the words he created as the only General to become President of The United States of America in the 20th Century. He even said future Presidents may not be aware of what may come but he did say it would be our Great Nations Demise. Im sure you can find it on youtube. Here we are 50+ years later that he worried this may happen.
Now we rank 17 in the most Corrupt Nations in the World with Senators & Congress with their BS Foundation & Organizations with contributions from Corporations which is EXACTLY what Eisenhower warned about. I am daily in tune with Domestic and Geopolitical news and The Geopolitical landscape that I see changing right before my eyes and it scares me. New alliances are being born and America has done nothing GREAT as a Beacon of Light & Hope which i pray will happen. I consider myself on both sides of the coin and I understand Wall Street but I have my own Business on Main Street. I can only say no matter what any trader, hedge funds, high frequency traders, or a technical or fundamental trader, broker, financial advisor or anybody else for that matter who is touting their plays on CNBC or Bloomberg giving 30 opinions and 50 different scenarios and looking at Macro Views from every different angle and having guests and contributors giving their own thesis which has not changed since I left. There is a key element about the Financial Models which by the way are being rewritten as we go. We are globalizing in unchartered territory. America needs a REAL GAME CHANGER. we need to create the LARGEST SMART GRID INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECT the world has ever seen. We are vulnerable in many areas. We need to do a complete OVERHAUL for The Nations Security in our Energy and Americas Ecosystem for the People and By The People. THE most Important thing to always remember is you can NEVER calculate the Evolution of the Human Spirit and the Will of the People.

I am the founder and director of three companies: Euro Pacific Capital (www.europac.net), a full service, registered broker-dealer and RIA which specializes in foreign securities; Euro Pacific Precious Metals (www.europacmetals.com), a gold & silver coin and bullion dealer; and Euro Pacific Asset Management (www.europacificfunds.com), a fund management company that is building a family of mutual funds based on my economic philosophy.
I am most well-known for accurately and publicly predicting the collapse of the housing and credit markets, the subprime crisis, and the increasing price of gold relative to the US dollar, resulting in the viral YouTube video "Peter Schiff Was Right."
I fly around the country and the world speaking to diverse groups, from academic conferences to Tea Party rallies. I have also appeared regularly on cable news stations since the mid-2000s trying to warn people of the impending economic collapse brought on by destructive fiscal and economic policy in Washington.
To that end, I published my first book, "Crash Proof: How to Profit from the Coming Economic Collapse," in early 2007, predicting the 2008 economic crisis while the mainstream commentators were saying it was impossible. Then, at the height of the crisis, I released "The Little Book of Bull Moves in Bear Markets," in which I showed readers how to help protect their finances in turbulent times. I've written updated versions of both Crash Proof and The Little Book since then, talking about how my predictions fared and why the worst of the crash is still ahead of us. I also wrote a book with my brother based on a popular comic book my dad wrote in the '70s. "How an Economy Grows and Why It Crashes" is an illustrated fable that starts with three guys on an island and uses allegory to explain exactly how we got into our current mess.
In the 2010 election season, I ran for the US Senate seat of retiring Senator Chris Dodd in my home state of Connecticut in order to bring attention to the mounting problems in this country. While I did not win the seat, my message of fiscal and monetary sanity was brought to a new audience of voters and political leaders.
I've had a regular video blog on YouTube since 2009, called The Schiff Report (www.youtube.com/user/SchiffReport) and, after giving up my long-running Wall Street Unspun podcast, I am now the host of a nightly radio show called The Peter Schiff Show (www.schiffradio.com).

After earning an undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and two master degrees (a Master in Public Policy and a Master in Business Administration) from the University of Texas at Austin, J.S. Kim started working within the Private Wealth Management division of one of the largest financial institutions in America. In 2005, dissatisfied with the ethics of the commercial investment industry and to be able to serve his clients in a manner consistent with his own commitment to integrity and honor, JS left the corporate world behind to launch his own company, SmartKnowledgeU™ (http://smartknowledgeu.com/), a fiercely independent investment research, consulting and education firm in 2006.
Brett earned his first contrarian investing profits in 2004 when he purchased an obscure investment (at the time): sugar futures. His friends on Wall Street stopped laughing soon enough when sugar rocketed to multi decade highs, illustrating that it indeed pays to be contrary.
Brett quickly learned that the key to maximizing profits while minimizing losses is to invest against the crowd. He has since scoured the universe of stocks, commodities and options, searching for popular and tradable market misconceptions.
Brett has been featured in The Economist, Forbes, The Globe and Mail, Chicago Tribune and Seeking Alpha. He is a graduate of Cornell University, with a degree in operations research and industrial engineering.
In addition to his love of investing, Brett is an experienced technology entrepreneur. He co-founded two successful high-growth software companies, Chrometa, maker of the world’s most advanced timekeeping software, and LeadDyno, an online marketing tool for small businesses.
