  • How To Position Yourself For Apple's Next Earnings Report [View article]
If you can't lose and all you do is win, then you should start a business and charge good money to show other peopele how to make money like you do. People would love to learn how to trade where there is 0 risk and money to be made. I bet you could make a good living!

  • Cisco: A Long-Term Options Play [View article]
Thank you for your input and you make sense. But-- stocks go up in price, stocks go down in price. CSCO is not flat for the last 10 years. Just in 2009 they went from 10 to about 27 in one year. I do not call that flat. They have bottomed and possibly on their way up. Regardless of your outlook on the company, the stock will continue to go up and down in value. Just playing the value of the stock.

We have no plans to date the CEO long term.

  • Why GM Is A Good Long-Term Investment Now [View article]
I understand what you are saying. I am very much aware of what went on. From an ivestment stand point, they bottomed out and are on the way up. There is a difference in investing to make money in a company and investing to support a company. GM is not going to botom out & go bankrupt tomorrow. If one is interested in making money on a growing stock, this is one of the stocks one may chose (or not). You do not have to stay in a company for 20 years and ove up and down with them.

Casey, I understand you and respect what you are saying. But it is not going to happen now & we have a growing stock here. That's all.

Yes, AAPL is (and always has been) conservative in their numbers. Analysts are always more liberal than Apple. Your right, it wasn't a straight disappointment like we would think of your average company.

I see your point my friend. You are pointing out the market price on bid & ask. If I was referring to selling at market then you are right. I should be a little clearer next time and point out that I would refer to limit orders with the stock rising. I am sure many people will think the same way. I should communicate this play a little better next time. Thank you for pointing that out!
