ABOUT
My work as a consumer advocate on multi-level marketing programs (MLMs) began with a one-year test of the Nu Skin program for a year in 1994. This led to numerous studies on the MLM industry and analyses of the compensation plans of over 500 MLMs which are reported on my web site: mlm-thetruth.com, which includes the most extensive base of independent research on the MLM industry.
After receiving my MBA from BYU and my PhD from Univ. of Utah, I taught at and served on the administrations of both universities, then embarked in an entrepreneurial career and the study of the whole field of cottage industries and sales options for opportunity seekers. I have initiated or helped to start over 40 businesses, many of ...More them sales oriented. All of this has given me the background to write three books on MLM, the latest being "The Case for and against Multi-level Marketing" - which can be downloaded free of charge from my web site.
