Rentech Nitrogen Partners - Time To Take Some Profits [View article]
I do believe however that the poor crop yield may already be priced into shares.

I may have not conveyed it the best, but I feel RNF is run up a bit higher due to published reports by reliable sources of information of yields in the 13% plus range, which isn't the truth! I believe RNF is a great stock, but I believe it is overvalued compared to UAN currently.

However, I had no issue with the content of his article - it was mostly factual and he stated he was short. I feel like SA is responsible because you are not supposed to put Sensationalistic Titles in. They should have canned that.

However if I was hoping to move the stock quickly, RNF should have taken off immediately in the positive direction when I wrote my bullish articles about them in April and May, but it did not. I also wrote an article http://seekingalpha.co... about CAT hitting a double bottom on 9-4 at $82 a share and I bought the stock predicting an increase. Can I take credit for my article moving the stock to $94 yesterday? I wish I could.

What I did when I wrote this article is this:
Took my cash, and put it in the following -
39% RNF @ $23.55
24% UAN @ $20.20
20% EXC @ $37.40
17% BP@ $39.60
RNF up to $34.34, UAN $25.60, EXC $36.15, BP $41.93. Note: I own PPL on a DRIP.
T was at $ 35.71
Today T is at $37.30
VZ was at $ 43.55
Today VZ is at $ 43.72
I have also collected healthy distributions from RNF and UAN ($1.17 and $.60 respectively, as well as the normal dividends on PPL, BP and EXC). I may have picked one loser in this article, but the other ones are winning big. Thanks for your followup comment.

I am definitely not ready to call a bottom to the indexes, and I truly do not believe there are too many good values out there currently. I currently have ~60% out in cash right now, but I do feel pretty strongly about CAT being at a good value to buy in at. If the stock would fall to $70, how crazy is a PE in the 6's? I'm not sure there are any other blue chips that are in that PE range, minus maybe some of the life insurance companies and maybe a bank or two.
