HAHAHA! Very nice! You're a bright one!

Too bad your folks did not assign you a with a name.

If the world operated according to your model, no one would assume any risk.

Kiss the entrepreneurs as well as a many of the advances we have made in medicine good-bye.

Folks would pay for everything with gold coins, right?

    No thanks.

After reading your other Michael Moore-ish, anti-capitalist propaganda that you didn't do so well in the market. The only thing perpetual here is your anger and frustration with American capitalism. That's right blame everyone else 'cause that always works to help you to become a better person.

I certainly hope you have access to Zevalin or other cancer drugs, the odds say you will likely need them some day.

Doing what you do - day in, day out - is easy. You underestimate independent investors. You talk down to them as if you are superior and above others. I encourage you to travel another route - investors are not as ignorant and uninformed as you may believe.

Try covering PFE and/or MRK. Both pay dividends. I like BWP. Check it out. There, you would likely be welcomed. In all sincerity, this environment is likely too difficult for a gold and dividend-only investor. Since you hide and play in the world of make-believe. You're neither a credible nor reliable. So, this environment is not a real good fit for you and vice-versa.

    Good luck!

  • Moody's expects to lower its U.S. credit rating to Aa1 from Aaa in 2013 unless budget negotiations "produce a stabilization and then downward trend" in the government's debt/GDP ratio. [View news story]
Hahaha. Tom, you certainly don't believe that such a response would be credible. At this point, the blame game is just a bit exhausted.

RS, well said. Like you, I remain long BAC.

I think we could see BAC make a BiG MOVE in the coming days / weeks. If interested, refer to my brief update at the link below.

    Good luck my friend!

  • Profiting From The Survival Of BAC [View article]
I realize we can't get everyone to see things from our view. Given.

But most, not all, of the commenters here lack a real command of the facts. The whiney, extreme pessimism is all a bit boring. -- I'm trying to be polite and interested in maintaining some civility. --

Credibility. My track record is important to me. Go back and look at my record, I get results and help investors generate impressive gains here at SA and on my site Rx Investors.com.

That said, I am willing to stake my record and reputation on BAC. BAC is and remains a strong B-U-Y under $7. I also strongly recommend that investors buy BAC near-the-money January 2013 calls, i.e. right now.

If you can't see an opportunity in BAC, then just allow it to pass.

BAC is and will remain profitable going forward. Note: Whoever made the ridiculous assertion that Merrill Lynch would be sold is dead wrong. By year-end 2012, the largest claims against the company will be settled.

Hate to break this to the pessimists, but the tide will turn - and sooner than later.

+ By May 2012, BAC investors will be rewarded for their patience.

+ By the January 2013 expiration, BAC shares will likely trade between $15 and $20.

Hawk, my friend, I think you are right on here. I like and agree with your GOP-win angle.

Like you, I am also long BAC. In 6 or fewer months, I firmly believe the BAC bet will prove to be a very smart one. Best of luck to you.

Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family.

  • Prepare For Europe Collapse Before New Year [View article]
Four Reasons to Be Bullish on U.S. Stocks

#1 As evidenced by the recent trading of the iPath S&P 500 VIX Short-Term Futures ETN (VXX), volatility appears to be trending back down to more “normal” levels.

#2 In Q3 2011, corporate earnings have surprised to the upside.

#3 During Q3, U.S. GDP rose to 2.5% from 1% in the previous quarters. Q4 2011 is expected to come in somewhere near 3%.

#4 In October 2011, unemployment came down ever so slightly to 9%.

As volatility comes down, you can bet investor and consumer confidence will return and just in time for the holiday season. For these reasons, we should expect to see a year-end rally. All major indexes should recover and close out the year with a gain. We are likely to see the Dow Jones Industrial Average hit 12,700 and possibly as high as 13,000+.

According to the Stock Trader’s Almanac, the last year that the year-end rally failed to materialize during a pre-election year was in 1939. So, the odds of a year-end rally are favorable.

In my view, taking a puts-only position is an overreach.

  • Can The Markets Take A Strong U.S. Dollar? [View article]
Moon Kil Woong: I share your sentiment on the stronger dollar. That said, I firmly believe it continues to push higher from here.

I initially recommended the US Dollar (UUP) on my site back in the spring.
    seekingalpha.com/insta...

As evidenced by my StockTalks here at SA, I've maintained the position for the past 5 months - NOT exactly a day trade. :-)
    seekingalpha.com/symbo...

We'll look to exit this position prior to the FOMC two-a-day later this month. In the interim, we could see UUP hit as high as $23. At or near that point, it would be wise to let it go and move on.

Notably, we closed out our (UUPT) trade on Friday when it hit our short-term target and walked with an 11% gain. UUPT was a trade-only. Nevertheless, not too shabby for a few weeks work. :-)

Excellent article by The Simple Accountant! Thank you sir.

  • Former Obama economic advisor Christina Romer cites the 1930s and WW2 to argue the government should increase spending to spark growth. She says "aggressive monetary expansion" brought growth of 10% a year from 1933-1937, with  monetary and fiscal retrenchment then helping cause the 1937 recession.  [View news story]
Boomer, EXCELLENT follow-up. I understand where you're going now. Thank you!

I am a fiscal conservative, but believe balance is key.
