  • Zynga: Poised For A Stock Price Realization [View article]
The company absolutely has potential, what I am arguing is that investors should wait to see tangible growth before buying into it's growth...

madav1138: Thank you for your tangible evidence for RSH inability to focus and the company's outrageous prices... Although stocks in many cases perform differently than the company, RSH is clearly in a fundamental slump.

  • Boeing's Move To South Carolina Could Help Revive American Manufacturing [View article]
Thank you for your inside analysis. The sad truth is that unless American can lower its labor-rate, there is no way to be competitive. The move to South Carolina and the elimination of the union could set a trend of lower manufacturing labor. It pains me to write this because I know it means every day Americans making less, but in order to compete, it may be necessary.

  • Amazon: Sell Or Expect Little Movement For Years [View article]
PedroG: I completely agree about your analysis of AAPL v. ANZN. The numbers speak for themselves and the truth is there is no reason to buy AMZN at this time...

  • Be Wary Of Google: A Price Ceiling Is Imminent [View article]
Allan: I did not know that AAPL included options and expenses verse GOOG which does not.
I believe GOOG should trade at a higher multiple than YHOO, but I would argue that it may be vauled too high right now.

Alan Brochstein: thank you for pointing this out. In the future I will make this more explicit. Being that they are both the same type of PE ratio (trailing), the comparison is accurate.

  • Be Wary Of Google: A Price Ceiling Is Imminent [View article]
Joe Kelly: With all due respect, liking GOOG e-mail tools more than the competition is not a reason to buy the stock. It is clear that GOOG is an exceptional operator, the problem is in the expectations of the stock. If the stock were $400.00, they would still have a good tool bar, the only difference would be that their valuation would be closer to where their competitors are.

Gail: It will be very difficult for GOOG to have the type of growth it did in the last decade, but that is not to say growth will be slow. The problem lies in the fact that perception is reality in the world of the markets. If investors see GOOG not performing up to where it was in past years, the bears may move in due to the high valuation.

  • What Wal-Mart's Promotion Of The Apple iPhone Means For Both Companies [View article]
This article does not imply that Wal Mart is hurting AMZN on the iPhone, but rather that in order to drive sales Wal Mart must give customers a reason to come into the store and discounts like the ones being offered on the iPhone help Wal Mart accomplish this task.

  • The Fresh Market: 1 Note Of Caution [View article]
Gary J: I wanted to update readers of that article of the changes that have occurred between then and now. My implication is not that The Fresh Market is a poor company from a customer or store perspective, but rather that from an investment perspective it must keep pace or outpace Whole Foods Market due to realities of valuation. In this most recent quarter, Whole Foods has showed its strength, while The Fresh Market has only leveled in terms of growth.
