That is key. Don't invest more than you are willing to lose if things go wrong. Either that, or hedge with puts.

    Good luck to all. ;)

  • 2 More Reasons To Be Bullish On Celsion Ahead Of Phase III Data [View article]
Not only are they confident enough to not raise funds before the event, some of them have exercised options, and/or bought more shares on the open market. The shares from the exercised options were held rather than sold. That's a good sign that they believe in positive trial results.

What you and others may be forgetting is that most of these patients should be dead by now. The fact that the trial has been going on this long speaks volumes. Think about it. Those insiders realize this.

Very sick patients were enrolled in this study. Take a peak at the FDA site showing enrollment criteria for this trial.

The trial would have been halted a long time ago if enough patients died due to ineffective treatment.

That's why I'm betting on positive results.

Plus, look at all the locations participating in this. It shows a clear level of excitement about the outcome being positive. Our FDA isn't the only one that allowed this process to speed up after seeing initial data.

The P F S for Progression Free Survial and O S for Overall Survival turned into stock tickers. Just go to link for Trial on FDA site.

rokony... The article proposing a short position is seriously flawed. AF states that "The primary endpoint of the study is to determine if the addition of Thermodox to RFA can significantly delay the re-growth of liver tumors compared to treatment with RFA alone."

This VERY BASIC fact is incorrect. "The primary endpoint for the study is progression free survival (, with a secondary confirmatory endpoint of overall survival ("

Another basic fact AF is missing is that the Heat Study is 700 patient, not 600.

    Easily verified at:

AF also seems to be ignoring the fact of recent insider buying. If they are sitting on bad data I doubt we'd see that.

    Easily verified at:
    SEC filings:

AF can't name his anonymous source which may not even exist.

There are plenty of reasons to take a cautionary stance as either a trader or long term investor. There are no guarantees in the stock market. Especially, with clinical trials. But, I'd feel a lot better reading an article that was a bit more factual. AF hasn't done his homework properly.

Excellent argument for holding CLSN in your investment portfolio! ;)

Following the money is also a good idea. Have you taken note of the recent insider acquisitions of CLSN?

    SEC filings:

Here are the three that acquired more stock in December 2012:

12.6.12 Martinez Alberto R Jr , director, acquired 34,583 shares for a total owned of 156,625 shares.

12.7.12 Tardugno Michael H , president and ceo, acquired 17,271 shares for total owned of 213,285 shares.

12.11.12 LINK MAX , director and acquired 14,000 shares for a total owned of 380,385 shares.

I'm also holding long. My current favourites are CLSN and CTIX.
