Karl Zachar is a senior manager at a leading healthcare data and research company based in Waltham, Massachusetts. Previously, Karl spent ten years working on Wall Street at an international investment bank and hedge fund. He has been actively managing equity and fixed income portfolios for the past 15 years.

Karl has an MBA from the Harvard Business School and graduated magna cum laude from Amherst College. Karl’s academic focus was economics, statistics, and international relations.

When not working or spending time with family, Karl spends his time training for charity triathlons to raise awareness and money for Dr. Ken Anderson’s Multiple Myeloma Research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute. This year Karl plans on completing the Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon and the 190 mile Pan Mass Challenge (PMC).
