I work for an international organization that focuses on economics, and I split my time between the USA and Nairobi, Kenya.

I am an individual investor with a background in economics and finance, and I invest for my and a few other family members' accounts for retirement. I invest primarily for total return based on the fundamental valuation of a company relative to expectations of future growth, but through my experience I have found dividend growth stocks to be very attractive for their ability to deliver a rising stream of income that both cushions volatility and provides an excellent risk-adjusted total return.
