  • Danger Zone For This Week: Apple [View article]
I agree this is a game to drive apple's stock lower so the big boys can buy, which is one of the oldest games on Wall Street. The pullback also appears technical in nature too, retesting important moving averages breached recently on the rebound rally. No market goes straight up, and I'm buying the stock today for a run to the 200 day MA. Market getting giddy though, as the 1999-style party reaches the parabolic stage, as I laid out in this article http://bit.ly/WpVqYk

  • Apple's CEO Discusses F2Q13 Results - Earnings Call Transcript [View article]
A bubble is a prolonged mega rise that grows on itself as people pile in believing they are onto a sure thing since it's different this time. Apple exhibited classic bubble action going into its final blow-off re excitement over i-phone 5. Fundamentals can never match investor expectations in bubble stocks, and thus the stock collapses as investor losses mount.

  • Will the Manipulation of Apple Ever End? [View article]
"How you can call a stock with a forward Cash-ex PE of 12 a bubble stock is beyond me. "Bubble" has nothing to do with the rate of increase in a stock. It has to do with the underlying value vs how it is priced."

Bubbles have nothing to do with price, or value, rather it is about ownership by too many people. Fundamentals are never as good as people expect on hot stocks or sectors.

Stocks ride together. If you have two stocks in the same sector, one with great earnings, one with none, both will rise during the bull phase, and both fall during the bear phase, though the amount of the rise should be higher for the big earner.

Just look at a chart of Apple over the long term. Loved. Unloved. Loved. What happens next? Apple is too big to remain a fast grower for much longer. And then it sleep for a microsoft style long time. Just be careful believing all the hype. Apple is just a stock to be traded, and nothing else. But on rumor sell on fact, says Apple is pretty darn risky here. But I, like anyone else, could be wrong.
