As it turns out, the recent increase in total weekly prescriptions was nothing more than the result of mandated reductions in prescription length relating to long-term care facility prescribing.
There has been no sudden increase in the prescribing of Nuedexta.
Thanks for the well thought and informative response, rayonman. Very much appreciated!
"add three more cities, another 40 million."
You are incorrectly suggesting that every Chinese city holds 13M+ people. There are not 40M people for every 3 cities.
I don't have the report, but it is summarized here:
http://on.barrons.com/...
Alcatel-Lucent to shed 7.2% of worldwide workforce. 1,430 jobs in France, 5,500 in total.
Hi Serge. The idea of government/bank intervention hadn't crossed my mind as a possibility before now, but yes...it would certainly go a long way towards helping the company right the ship.
Hi Tim. Raymond James is out today with a report that suggests the stock could triple from here. Perhaps they are counting on a government bailout, too? Is Alcatel-Lucent too big to fail?
Well done, as always. Keep 'em coming!

Hi Steve. I believe most deceitful people think they are being clever when they are able to fool others, Chinese or not. Are you suggesting that Sino-Global is being deceptive?
Bert
$SINO - Looks like it is forming a double bottom. I am a buyer again below $2.20.

Thanks for the comment, SVR. Time will tell, but this stock has a history of taking-off at times. Fine tuning and good market conditions will likely result in multiple consecutive quarters in the black. It could take off at any moment, given the low share count. I do agree that there are inherent risks with investing in any equity, let alone a Chinese one these days, but this company has the ability to turn things around and reward its shareholders.
As an aside, I have benefited from the stock's volatility on more than one occasion.
You are welcome to continue to use your ratings systems, though. I hope they don't deal in any way with absolutes.
Best,
Bert

Thanks for your insightful post, Flanger.

Hi Moscow. From Dec. 29th 2011 to March 30th 2012, VRNG had steadily risen from $0.99 to $1.65 (66.66%).
The 100%+ jump over the last two days has nothing to do with why it is listed as a "steady climber".
Your comment discredits itself and its author (you). A little research would have helped you here. Really. Just a little.
Bert
$VRNG up another 13% today on heavy volume.
Bert
For those who would enjoy a good long read from Sarge.

I wonder when the first lawsuit will be filed against them?
Bert
Yeah. Today was a big "WTF?" for all KERX longs.
BW
$SNSS New 52-week high today of $3.17 on 4.6x average daily volume.

Congrats and welcome aboard, TradingPub. We've got a great group of talented and interesting team members, here. Proud to be a part of it, myself.

SteveWa: Indeed. It's very very likely there will be some decent follow-through as the result of it.
Good call.

$ARNA is doing well for you, I presume...

Busy day, soooo...I'm just gong to echo what Rahael said.
Never mind. This occasion is too important to NOT stop for a while and visualize, appreciate and acknowledge all of the effort that goes into making Seeking Alpha what it has become; a rapidly growing fantastic place to write, read others' thoughts and opinions and share actionable information (and click on an ad or two once in a while :)
Nice work everyone, and thank you to the SA team for providing this platform for us and working with us as best you can. This has greatly helped the contributors assist in bringing in and welcoming over 1M members! Let's keep it up.
Best to all,
Bert
All stocks listed in this article are up an average of 2.432%, as I write this but, then again, what isn't green today?
Bert
Hi niajy. Everything is up today.

Hello buyonuptick. There are certainly some long sentences in there.

Hi SteveWa.
A lot of people have complained about the timing of some his biotech pieces. His opinions and the negative light he casts on companies with somewhat questionable prospects and outlooks are mostly informational and he makes it fairly clear what he doesn't like about a company.
Though I have often disagreed with his opinions..and articles as a whole, I think it would be foolish to discount his perspective completely, He's been covering the space pretty well now for a number of years.
I don't think he hates everything. Its more that he tends to focus on the negatives. He probably gets a lot of "hate mail" from the most foolish ones among the already overly-exuberant retail investors that are in stocks (and are probably over-invested in them) that he doesn't present in a 100% positive light.
I can easily see how one might think that the man hates everything, though. Sometimes you just have to take the bad with the good.
BW
Hi asxion. Yes. Let us see.
