There is no reason why GM can't reorganize. The government cannot prop up the markets forever. GM's business model can no longer function competitively in today's market. It is time for a change.

Tuesday Market Preview: Down Further?

There are some positive signs that we may (and I emphasize may) go higher: the toppiness of the Vix; the failure to make more new lows in conjunction with new market lows; and a lack of volume(although lack of volume is more important for moves to the upside than to the downside). Considering all this, I haven't been long anything for some time and I don't expect to be in the near future. Let the "Value Investors" catch the falling knife.
