Larry House is a retired educator and now works full time for Big Brothers Big Sisters, a child mentoring organization. He has been involved with investing for over 30 years and was an account executive with an investment firm in the 1970s. He vividly remembers the oil embargo and hyper inflation of the 1970s, 1980s and credit card interest rates over 20%. He presently manages a modest IRA account, from which he is now old enough to withdraw funds without penalty! He must also put one more offspring through college in a few years.
