  • Apple Is Not Worth $460 [View article]
Firstly... I'm not a technology analyst. My area of expertise is real estate and energy. But I do have a knack for picking tech stuff. (used to be a guy)

I believe that Apple is a bubble. The smart phone business is incredibly fickle. The technology business is as well. 420B without Steve jobs? I highly doubt so.

Once upon a time there was a company that started easy to use mobile phones. That was Nokia.

Then there was the revolutionary 'slim it down' firm with patent technology. That was Motorola.

Then came two way pager idea for corporate's. That was Blackberry.

The first major players in Smart phones. Treo, Handspring and HTC.

Two colleagues just requested the Galaxy S3 LTE instead of the new Iphone. I use the Samsung S3 and now I laugh at my friends trying to escape the Apple eco-system. Just had a look at the new Ultrabook 8 series and am seriously tempted to switch my Fujitsu. For $600 less than an Apple. Based on history and my 'feel' I don't think Apple is a wise investment. Just look at HP.
