I know that the amounts are not equal between the funds, but rather just wanted to point out that some were switching from Sirius to the others and vice-versa. And if you check ALL of the activity -- not just the top few it gets really interesting -- but way too much for an article! I read that Google will charge $9.99 a month -- with a special right now for $7.99. As I said in some of the other comments it will be interesting to see how many subs they get!

I agree. Even the most loyal Bulls were getting a little nervous during the first Q! Then when earnings were announced and the company announced Meyer would be permanent and the buyback had begun the stock jumped immediately!

Sirius has been very successful. What you are missing is the advertising. This can be very annoying to some people while others do not care. And as I mentioned in the article -- satellite reception is superior to internet which is not available everywhere.
What will be interesting is to see how well Google does with its paid subs for internet streaming.

There are several people that think a Big Announcement is coming - maybe at the shareholder meeting. And I agree - telematics will be HUGE! And I agree about the content.
However, the music is important while you are traveling out in a car in the boondocks! You can listen to the same station anywhere in the country via satellite.

That is what I was pointing out at the beginning of the article- that the top 3 institutional owners sold some of their stakes. And as you said Q1 was soft. As I also mentioned-- I think it was due to uncertainty about the buyback - and the CEO.
Unless the price jumps quite a bit higher (never say never), I do not see Liberty selling yet. The summer is traditionally down -- and even if it is up -- it will be up higher in the later part of the year-- and the first of next year.
And when they do sell the stock will most probably take a psychological hit. I think it will also dip when 2nd Q results come out because of the NOLS used last year. It will appear like a loss -- and the Bears will promote it as such. At that time I see the company buying more shares. But I do not see Liberty selling. Just my opinion!
