I am a full-time professional working outside of wealth management industries. I am an MBA Graduate, Psychology Undergraduate and have over 15 years of personal investment experience. I enjoy interpreting the market and find analyzing business data to be provocative and lucrative. I have a passion for writing and like to share my unique interpretation of markets. My 15 years of personal investment experience and MBA education have given me the tools to effectively research companies and markets. My background in Psychology, research and statistics caters to my ability to critically view companies and markets and measure value. I enjoy sharing my thoughts on relevant business news events and following a variety of securities. I look for strategies in any given situation and I am intellectually stimulated from studying the market and its companies. As a Wall St. outsider, and a representation of the part-time investor in America, I appreciate the work it takes identifying stocks with value opportunities, whether for bulls or bears. I research top down as well as bottom up when conducting my analysis. I consider a wide variety of data and continue to improve as a judge of value when reviewing long and short ideas in the context of the global economy. I hope my readers gain insight into the companies I write about as well as the macroeconomic influences on the US economy.
My academic background is in Engineering and management.
Besides one basic accounting course at university my investment knowledge is self-taught.
Reading books, SEC filings, annual reports, analyst reports, blog posts, MOOCs, message boards and listening to select podcasts and conference calls has helped me enormously to evolve as an investor.

Started studying charts 10 years ago during my "free" time (remember that?) - had the "aha" moment... - and keep learning from it as time passes. Social Security and 401K's aren't gonna cut it probably and nothing's getting cheaper. There is a flow in any market - we are here to monitor the flow - the roller coaster - and it's fun after you learn not to get burned. BTW - you will get burned once in a while...
