ABOUT
Hello! My name is Logan Smyth. I'm 26 and currently living in Columbus, Ohio. I have been investing and following the markets for about five years now. I received a B.S. in Business with a concentration in Finance from Carnegie Mellon in 2007. I am currently working towards an MBA with a major in Investment Management at The Ohio State University's Fisher College of Business.
I have interned with UBS Wealth Management in Pittsburgh and in New York City. After graduating I moved to Columbus to work for Abercrombie & Fitch. After my contract expired, I chose to leave Abercrombie and trade the markets full-time. I realized the market conditions were something I could only experience once in a century and I ...More wanted to focus on learning as much as possible from them.
I write these articles for a variety of reasons. I like to share my thoughts on the market but I also like having a record of investments that I have recommended. I will be applying for internships at financial firms in Columbus next summer and I think a stable of articles will serve me well with my minimal professional experience. I also enjoy the discussion that follows most articles. Please feel free to comment on my articles and add your own insight. However, I ask that readers keep comments constructive as this is not professional analysis.
If you would like to read more of my thoughts on the market, I have additional articles and posts on my website, Smyth Financial (http://www.smythfinancial.com). I also use my website as a means of networking and sharing more information about myself online. Please feel free to stop by if you would like to learn more about me.
