  • Is YRC Worldwide On The Brink Of A Turnaround? [View article]
Honestly, the company is being traded by the sways of momentum. Their most recent quarter was on par with what James Welch stated his intended plans were during the Wolfe Conference. That being said, there last quarter wasn't as bad as people made it out to appear, in fact, it was pretty good when compared to other shipping companies. I Think the worst is behind the company, however this quarter will be very revealing. The company would be grossly undervalued if the next earnings are good.

  • SFX Entertainment And Electronic Dance Music: A Fad Or A Position Worth Investing In? [View article]
As the market progressively becomes saturated for these events, like everything else, the costs will go down to see electric dance festivals. .. The same happened in Europe, the same will probably happen here in the United States.

  • Video Gamers Are Deserting Retailers [View article]
One thing to consider about assessing video game sales is the fact that it is often a generational thing. For example video game sales declined prior to the release of the xbox 360 and PS3. The same is occuring now as consumers are awaiting the release of the PS4 and the new Xbox, therefore there is less of an incentive to make purchases of new games when they are saving to purchase the new systems that are coming out this winter.

  • Herbalife: An Ethical Short [View article]
As an individual who has written about Herbalife myself and analyzed the company thoroughly i do believe the company is becoming more predominant around the world, however i must say that the company itself is in fact a pyramid scheme. Most of the comments in support of the company on this page in support of the company aren't founded on any valid notions, but rather, hearsay. It seems as if die hard supporters and or "distributors" are going crazy on all of these message boards as a means to demean SA authors who are writing against the company...

James Hanshaw you bring up a valid point, however then do you believe the CEO of the company is lying about their decision to begin production by february? Why would he make statement such as that?

I think that it all depends, If he sells 50% of the drilling rights without gaining any royalties from the assets that are drilled then that would be a poor decision on behalf of the company. They would stand to lose out on tremendous value. Another factor is how much Bond is willing to sell 50% of the drilling rights for. If the amount of shale oil under the properties is worth the minimum of what has been reported ($359 billion) then half of that would be $179.5 billion a very extreme price for any current oil company to pay. In addition that is the minimum. making any deal most likely for less than the current value minimum value of the resources would make the company lose out on the value of their assets.

  • Why Take-Two Interactive Is Poised To Have A Great Quarter [View article]
Very true, and the stock has not appeared to have been impacted in the slightest, people are grossly underestimating how profitable this quarter will be for Take-Two.

I didn't bring up GTA online, although that is certainly a valid point stellioz, the online mode will get an accumulated million hours + of game time in the future, which will certainly be interesting to see. In addition new online packages will be an additional stream of revenue for Rockstar.
