  • What Q2 Means For YRC Worldwide [View article]
I don't think simply having debt makes a company an unworthy investment, in fact to say something like that is actually quite stupid. Every single major publicly traded company has some form of debt or another. To argue that every company with debt is bad is a very poor way of assessing a company.

  • Linc Energy: An Undervalued Energy Play With A Potential Upside Of 88.1% [View article]
I think that it all depends, If he sells 50% of the drilling rights without gaining any royalties from the assets that are drilled then that would be a poor decision on behalf of the company. They would stand to lose out on tremendous value. Another factor is how much Bond is willing to sell 50% of the drilling rights for. If the amount of shale oil under the properties is worth the minimum of what has been reported ($359 billion) then half of that would be $179.5 billion a very extreme price for any current oil company to pay. In addition that is the minimum. making any deal most likely for less than the current value minimum value of the resources would make the company lose out on the value of their assets.

  • Facebook: Video Ads, China, And Turning It Into The Next Google [View article]
I concur with many of the statements above Facebook does not need China to succeed. Facebook is a social networking giant and as everyday passes they are accumulating a larger and larger user base.

  • Video Gamers Are Deserting Retailers [View article]
One thing to consider about assessing video game sales is the fact that it is often a generational thing. For example video game sales declined prior to the release of the xbox 360 and PS3. The same is occuring now as consumers are awaiting the release of the PS4 and the new Xbox, therefore there is less of an incentive to make purchases of new games when they are saving to purchase the new systems that are coming out this winter.

  • Herbalife: An Ethical Short [View article]
As an individual who has written about Herbalife myself and analyzed the company thoroughly i do believe the company is becoming more predominant around the world, however i must say that the company itself is in fact a pyramid scheme. Most of the comments in support of the company on this page in support of the company aren't founded on any valid notions, but rather, hearsay. It seems as if die hard supporters and or "distributors" are going crazy on all of these message boards as a means to demean SA authors who are writing against the company...

  • What Q2 Means For YRC Worldwide [View article]
True, but then again I didn't feel it would be necessary to for me to bring that up as they are two different companies with completely different prospects. That being said the only thing that would cross over are the revenues when discussing the Tonnage index.

  • Is YRC Worldwide On The Brink Of A Turnaround? [View article]
as long as the interest rates remain as they are now and the company continues to sustain their current operating income, then the debt factor will most likely not be detrimental to them in the long term. That being said if the bank raised the interest rates they would in turn be harming their own investment as the company would then go bankrupt. you see the banks have invested so much in the company's that it wouldn't be beneficial for them to raise interest rates at this time.

Very true, and the stock has not appeared to have been impacted in the slightest, people are grossly underestimating how profitable this quarter will be for Take-Two.

  • Twitter IPO Update [View article]
I honestly think that if the market cap stays low enough upon the IPO the stock will surge. Wether or not it will sustain the price it inflates to however is another story entirely.
