Wouldn't you say that less-liquid markets just get you to fair value faster? As a market maker, why would you want to book dozens of trades at a loss for the sake of liquidity?
You can't just look at debts. You also have to look at assets. Governments have balance sheets. They do hold assets. Money to pay off debt does not need to only come from tax revenues.
PSLV listed on Oct 29th, 2010, meaning that a follow-on offering could have happened Feb 1st or May 1st of this year. A follow-on is different than a secondary and many people get them confused. The author should have known the difference before posting an article.

It seems to me that he is one of these large buyers and I am personally upset that he has not offered more shares of PSLV. I had thought of even authoring a shareholder motion to force him to purchase more silver and offer more shares. Would PSLV shareholders support such a motion?
