Malay Bansal

Malay Bansal is a capital markets professional with over 16 years of wide capital markets, commercial real estate, and structured finance experience.  He is a Managing Director at a New York based advisory firm working on structured finance, commercial real estate , clean energy, infrastructure, and project finance. Previously, he worked at a large wall street firm for 15 years, in various roles - portfolio manager, head of advisory, trader, product head, banker, deal-manager, head of structuring & pricing. For the last ten years, the commercial real estate sector has been a major focus for him. He has been involved in all aspects of the sector including performing & non-performing loans, properties, CMBS, CRE ...More CDOs, subordinate debt, REITs, financing lines, and securitization. Other trading desks he has worked on include treasury, mortgage, & currency options, CMOs, emerging markets structured products, non-dollar swaps, and exotic options.

Malay’s education includes an MBA, MS in Economics, and BS in Electronics Engineering.
