Being a private self-employed healthcare practitioner for some 37 years in a small town doesn't quite provide for a secure retirement. Fortunately, I realized this several years ago, and started studying various investment philosophies and methodologies which led me to where I am now...Retired, happy with my life, happy in my marriage of 31 years, and privileged to have touched the many lives of people I've known as patient's and friends. I'm also on a relatively comfortable budget because of my investments! I love music, people, fishing, and the often crazy intricacies of investing. I despise warmongering, famine, bigotry, and intolerance. Life can be grand.....for some of us. I wish it could be so for more of us.
Recently retired from the information technology industry. Held numerous senior executive positions in hardware, software and service businesses. Primary industry/geo focus has been Financial Services in North America and Europe. Enjoy photography, golf, travel, climbing mountains, fitness and learning new things....but having said all that my family always comes first.
