Marlowe Cassetti

Marlowe Cassetti has had a rewarding career with NASA. He helped put the first US astronauts into space and on the moon and was interviewed on NBC's Today Show following the launch of the Skylab manned space station. His mission-planning career taught him the power of the computer for problem solving. In the back of his mind, he always thought about what he could do in the stock market if he had access to a powerful computer. That later arrived in 1974 when he built his first personal computer, the Intel 8008 powered Mark 8, from scratch. In 1976 he moved up to a Z-80 computer.

Marlowe had several articles published in Technical Analysis of Stocks and Commodities. In 1992 he started a monthly investment ...More advisory newsletter, Rocket Science Investing. He was written up in the June 1993 issue of Baron’s.

Marlowe obtained his broker's license Series 7 and 65 in 1999 and became an advisor with a financial planning organization. After retirement he continued to be an active investor, honing his techniques. He is a frequent presenter at the local AAII chapter and began the Rocket Science Investing (http://rocketscienceinvesting.blogspot.com/) blog at the urging of friends wanting him to share his work with others.
