Martin was one of the youngest ever members of the Johannesburg Stock Exchange at 23. He spent 10 years a partner a boutique Investment bank that assisted small to medium size enterprise access capital as well as corporate advisory and consulting on business development. Martin was one of the founder members of the equity options exchange and active participant in futures and derivatives markets in a trading and advisory role to both institutional and private clients. Martin was also a regular market commentator on Bloomberg, Reuters and other South African media outlets. Martin ran the Boston office for a US nationwide broker dealer that specialized in sophisticated electronic equity trading platforms. He serviced hedge funds, mutual funds and asset managers. Martin is an active angel investor and advisor and has a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Cape Town as well an MS in Investment Management from BU. Martin is also a mentor to MBA students in the EIT program at Babson College.
