  • Do this, not that!

    This is a follow up to my piece in Feb about the stimulus package that is now not working as predicted. Please see article titled 'Unleash the cash'

    Now, in a similar vein to all those diet books that suggest  to eat this and not that for good health I strongly suggest the following to the Obama administration to get the economy back to good health as you misread  it last time and are in danger of doing so again.

    Not only should you eliminate the tax on dividends but now you should give a 5 year capital gains tax holiday as the economy is eroding. Just look at some of the recent employment data and just today the record consumer debt delinquencies, these amongst many others. Also, the press articles are starting to abound about the misuse use of stimulus funds at State level and eligible aplicants not being able to get cash.
