Marvin R Clark is Managing Principal and Chief Economist and Strategist for Monsoon Wealth Management, LLC, an investment advisory firm that provides financial management advice to select private wealth clients and small businesses. He consults regularly with clientele and business executives on macro-economic trends to preserve wealth, manage risk, and to structure private investment opportunities. Prior to opening Monsoon Wealth Management, he spent 10 years in the capital markets, fixed income division, of Charles Schwab & Co, in Phoenix, AZ.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, where Marvin started in retail sales in 1983, he has worked for Dean Witter Reynolds, Bank of America, and The Pilgrim Group. He now lives in Scottsdale, Arizona. Marvin is a contributing writer to the financial website Seeking Alpha, an occasional blogger, and a popular speaker throughout the southwest.

Marvin is involved in the socially responsible investing movement. Next year, he will publish “How to Retire in 2010: A Boomers Guide to the New Normal for Income Investing”, and has plans to visit China, to assess first-hand this emerging economic power of the 21st century.
