You make a good point about trusting management; they have proven themselves over the years. However, DVK made some great points in his ABT article about what could happen when they split.
I am going to hold, but take some profits if the price keeps going up the way it has been.
In the second post he talks about how the markets have reacted to QE and how hedge funds seem to throw a fit (push market down 20%) each time QE ends with the goal of forcing Ben into more QE.

As i mentioned in my most recent article( http://bit.ly/HmePW0 ) I am just not so sure that the split is a good thing. If it gets to $65 before the split, then i plan to take a bit off the table.

Barry Ritholtz had 2 really great posts this week dealing with QE-3.
The first one mentions that every time Bill Gross has predicted QE, he has been right. …And He is saying that its coming
Ritholz goes on to site James Bianco research and it takes the position that markets will sell off when QE-3 is announced.
