  • Greece Defaults [View article]
Im going to repeat my comments from the other article,

You gotta love how this all played out, if its such a wonderful solution and a panacea to the Euro problems then why didnt gold drop $100 or more and take the fear trade off the table?

Instead gold fell $20 and is now rallying again!

    The horse has bolted.

  • Tempting Tuesday: Murdochs Testify to Parliament [View article]
"but leave out sales tax, property tax, value added tax, user fees, etc. and you can really get a distortion and bias in the argument presented."

I suggest you do your homework in which you will find the other countries have these as well, on top of the aforementioned tax scales.

Go and have a look how much stamp duty on property and a Porsche costs in Australia compared to the US, go and have a look at death taxes and VAT in the UK, i could go on and on...........go and do your homework and get back to us with your detailed findings

  • How much veracity is there in Rupert Murdoch's testimony? First he said he would seldom speak to the NOTW editors and then said it would be once a month. But Piers Morgan, a former editor at the paper, tweets that "Rupert called me every week for 18ms on News of the World." (previous)  [View news story]

OMG I had just about died of boredom after 2.5 hours watching the dribble, got up for a cup of tea and missed it when a protester lunged at Murdoch, his Chinese Mrs then tried to strike the protester!

I believe someone tried to "pie" Rupert with shaving cream.

  • Why Microsoft Should Borrow Heavily to Buy Back Shares [View article]
It seems to me that a cat person has invested in a dog business and now wants the dog business to jump through hoops like he expects his cat to.

Why buy a dog when you are a cat person?

    Very strange IMO.
