    You have to admit Meredith Whitney’s hair looks very nice, i just wanted to go out and buy some Johnson and Johnson, or something to do with hair care.

    I feel much better now i have J&J, as i predict a rush on hair care products by her legions of admirers.

    I dont think i have ever met someone who just buys and sells a stock in one day to trade and make money, even day trading is a fallacy. Nobody dose this! So i find your comparison rather amusing.

    Day traders will swing trade positions and look for large gains in as short a time as possible. Why not make 10% in a week or two rather than wait a whole year?

    Some people like risk, some people like to buy penny mining stocks and wait for the big strike.

    We all understand that buy and hold for years will pay in the long term, but some of us like a challenge and to have some fun along the way.

    It's horses for courses.
