    Price momentum is generally price divided by dollars. Intermarket analysis is about price divided by price and getting a sense of underlying factor changes and sentiment. It is more an issue of how you define "momentum" which is considered in an absolute sense, rather than relative sense which can help detect coming changes in absolute price. Semantic difference.
