Speaking of bollinger bands, the respective MSCI Index ETFs for Brazil (as well as Malaysia, Singapore, and Mexico) have all reversed trend and are now below their 50-session lower bands.
Do you think this is just nervous behavior on illiquid and sensitive ETFs (for EWM and EWS at least), or is this perhaps representative of a correction to come in the week ahead (FOMC dynamics aside)?

Hello Carl, it's surprising to note that over the last three months, appreciation in the Euro, Canadian, and Australian dollar have helped their respective MSCI ETFs so much that they give <i>at least</i> equivalent returns at lower volatilities, as I show here. One could argue that both interest-rate-differen... currency appreciation and equity growth make these already-emerged world ETFs profitable, in contrast to the possible currency valuation and growth complications with emerging world funds.

Hello Tom, The Netherlands (EWN), Australia (EWA), and Malaysia (EWM) have also had great runs. EWN in particular has done well, as over the past three months, it's beat all other MSCI ETFs and still had comparatively little volatility. If you take a look at the past three months for all MSCI ETFs, you can really see the bullish global trend.
