  • Attention BlackBerry Shorts: See Order Flow To Vendors [View article]
"But given the reports of actual people on the ground coming in from the markets where it has launched thus far (not the so-called "channel checks" that someone's doing from an office 5,000 miles away), I wouldn't take the channel-stuffing bet unless the person offering it was also giving 10:1 odds on it"

I guess shipping 5 days worth of phones to India and selling out in 2 days would indicate severe allocation issues at BBRY, the opposite of Channel stuffing.

  • Major U.K. Outlets Hike BlackBerry Z10 Price Above iPhone 5, Black Market Thriving [View article]
I think you are right; selling is far better than assumed and that is reason behind the price increase in the UK.

We have witnessed abusive market manipulation that was abetted by well known media outlets. This is an incredible story by itself.

  • Avoid A Sale - 100% Undervalued: BlackBerry's Potential Playbook [View article]
Heins must resign. His starF*cking with Lewis Hamilton Alicia Keys is appalling, His handling of the product launches was equally appalling, and he spends his time flying around in a company G5 as people are being laid off left and right.

Stock takes 10% day he's gone.

  • BlackBerry Will Surprise: Forecasting June Earnings [View article]
I would count on $400M marketing minimum for the launch, I think street is between 250-500 here.

I would revise ASP down to $500, $600 is just not there IMHO.

Still we end up with a great EPS.

I second that. I want to see a major clawback on earnings these jerks got writing all these CDSs, at least 3 - 4 years. As for Greenberg, he needs to go straight to jail, do not pass go etc, and end up in the can next to Maddoff and Jeff Skiling. He is no different.

We need a Spanish inquisition type off purge after what these criminals have done.

"Capitalisim for Profits and Socialism for Losses" is over!

  • BlackBerry Q10 Outsells iPhone 5 And Galaxy S4 In France [View article]
Clearly Marcap, I would look to understand the data you are quoting better.

The above data you mention is based on page analysis tech sold mostly in English speaking web. UK/USA/Canada etc... It's an alternative for Google analytics. Company is based in Ireland, I've communicated with them often. They don't have much French presence, it's not even mentioned here:

So your comments are a bit off in view of this.

  • BlackBerry: Where There Is Smoke There Is Fire [View article]
History will prove this to have been one of the dumbest short trades ever.

As to Lenovo, you need to know the board of BBRY:
    1) TPG sits on the board via Bonderman's 2nd in command, Tim Dattels

2.) Former CFO of Lenovo, works for TPG now.

Now, also ask yourself why CEO of Lenovo INTENTIONALLY made the comment he did, one month his number two said it at Davos and Lenovo had play it down?

    This remark was intentional.

Lastly I hear rumours that some of the Tiger Cubs (Julian Roberston's lot) may be behind this you know why Tiger's eat their cubs?

  • Heins' Mobile End Computing Vision Comes To An End; So Must He [View article]
Come on seriously? Do you know, after the media Blitzkrieg, how many people are going to walk into a store and shy away from BB10 because the "Company is going Bankrupt"?

How many CTO's are going to slapped by their CEOs for even suggesting BES10?
"That company is going out of business. I saw it on CNN. you numb nuts"

That script is going to played again and again.

The damage to BBRY was tremendous

  • Verizon, Short-Sellers Show Strong BlackBerry Interest; Shares Tough To Borrow [View article]
The Verizon Store checks are stunning. Add in the Q10 with another 3-5%, and we could be very close to 10% of Verizon, and that excludes Govies and large corporate. WOW
