    The fact that they spent $100 million on a magazine is absolutely insane when you consider the amount of quality competition available free on the Internet (SA included!).

    They would have been better off with a $5K Wordpress blog.

    Many magazines are in trouble because much of the content is stale by the time it hits the newstand, and can often be found free online anyway. So do I need to pay money to learn tips for speeding up my laptop? Or for a camera review? Or for useless, fluffy business news?
