Michael is the Chief Executive Officer & CIO of Arcoda Capital Management LP, a Registered Investment Advisor that manages global healthcare long-short funds.
Michael has enjoyed a 20 year career in healthcare asset management, investment banking and in the operating environment. Prior to moving to the buyside in 1999, Michael was Director, Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Investment Banking at Merrill Lynch & Co. in New York. Arcoda’s investment team includes Managing Director, Scott Gottlieb, M.D., a former Deputy Commissioner of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and a Senior Advisor to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, among other team members.
Michael holds an M.P.H. in ...More Health Policy and Management from Columbia University and an A.B. in Biology from Brandeis University in Massachusetts.
